Alumni Newsletter – November 2015
A publication of the National Speech & Debate Association
Dear Alum,

Thank you for being a lifetime member of the National Speech & Debate Association! As you journey through college, the workforce, and beyond, we want to stay connected with you! This quarterly update will help keep you informed of news and notes from the speech and debate community.
WHAT'S HAPPENING
Tell Your Story; Help Our Cause » We need your help to raise awareness of speech and debate at a local and national level! Telling your story is the best way to advocate for speech and debate. Please consider participating in this alumni survey, which will be used in the dissertation research of three-diamond coach J. Scott Baker. The results will be shared with our organization to help us advocate for speech and debate activities! Thank you in advance for taking time to reflect on your middle school or high school years with us. The survey is open through November 20. Get started by clicking here.
PKD CORNER
Earn College Recognition » As a lifetime member of the National Speech & Debate Association, you also receive free membership in Pi Kappa Delta (PKD), the national honorary for collegiate speech and debate! If you currently attend a college/university and participate in speech and debate activities (or would like to begin a program), please fill out this application for PKD membership. Want to learn more about PKD? Visit our website at www.speechanddebate.org/pkd or email pkd@speechanddebate.org.
