Regional Visitor Profile Research Reports Now Available
|
"Southern Oregon showed above average Very Satisfied scores, and no dissatisfaction expressed by visitors. Additionally, the region performs above average for likelihood to return and recommend scores."
In April, Travel Oregon released the 2025 Visitor Profile Research Report with data from Oregon visitors that provides insights on their perceptions, motivations, trip details, satisfaction, planning and demographics. This study offers insights into the Oregon visitor experience from multiple perspectives such as origin, destination, or by type of traveler (e.g., visitors who engage in outdoor recreation activities). Regional breakdowns of this report are now available.

| May Regional Research Report |
In May, hotel Demand throughout the Southern Oregon Region continued to trend below the same time last year, as hotels sold 2.0% fewer room nights YoY, while Supply remained elevated, up 3.3% YoY.
Year-to-date through May, Southern Oregon Region hotels have recorded a 4.7% decline in Occupancy, which is the result of a 1.9% drop in Demand paired with a 3.0% increase in Supply.
