Test August Canada Newsletter
Test August Canada Newsletter
Hello Canada ATMIA Members,

Welcome to our late-summer edition of the Canada Newsletter. As we start to see our weather cool down, we are also beginning to see business activities heat up. However, the activities of an upcoming Federal election campaign might well prove a distraction.

In this edition, we will see Hill and Knowlton’s industry monitoring update. There are also updates on working committees contributing to the good health of the ATM industry, including the Consortium for Next Gen ATMs and ATM Cash Council. Please take a look at upcoming events that include conferences, webinars, and key stakeholder meetings so you can network with your peers and competitors around major current issues.

As Canada is vast, there are times we need your help in capturing all industry activities across the country. From Nanaimo B.C. to Gander NFLD, some 6844 kilometers and 68,591 ATMs, there are always activities of interest, whether they are regulatory or security-related, and we would like to share them with our general membership. Please alert me of any activities you feel would be of such interest, whatever your location in Canada.

Enjoy the remainder of this newsletter.

Best regards to all,

Curt Binns,
Executive Director, ATMIA Canada

Renew Your Membership and Contribute to the Cause

ATMIA has implemented a convenient new way to support our industry – renew your membership and contribute to advocacy efforts with one simple click.

When you receive your next membership renewal invoice, it will include a new line item at the bottom of the Transaction Details section of the invoice. An Industry Fund contribution for the Canada Region has been added, in the amount equal to 25% of your membership renewal – the recommended annual contribution for Canada advocacy efforts.

Burdensome regulatory and compliance requirements that harm or increase the costs of ATM operators are not affecting only those operators. They indirectly impact everyone who does business with those operators. Which is why we encourage all ATMIA members to support the Canada Industry Advocacy Fund by accepting the contribution line item on your renewal invoice.

The contribution amount may be edited or deleted, but we hope that all members will make a contribution to this critically important cause.

For more information on ATMIA advocacy activities or to arrange a Defense Fund sponsorship, contact ATMIA Executive Director Canada, Curt Binns.
