INVESTITURE OF UNT'S 17TH PRESIDENT
Wednesday, Nov. 13, marked a historic day for UNT when Dr. Harrison Keller was invested as the 17th president of the University of North Texas. In his inaugural State of the University address, Keller laid out his vision for UNT’s future in five design principles: Embracing our public responsibilities, creating transformative value for students, unlocking individual potential across our community, transcending traditional academic boundaries and prioritizing partnerships for the public good.
“I commit to work with you, and with our faculty, staff, alumni, employers and partners to provide you with world-class, transformative educational experiences,” he said to students. “Your UNT education should be distinguished by high expectations worthy of your talents, coupled with high support to help you unlock your full potential.”
