Request for Proposals & Qualifications: Big Creek Community Connectivity Project |
The City of Roswell, in partnership with True North 400, is now accepting proposals for Design Services on the Big Creek Community Connectivity Project (Reference 25-268-T). This initiative is focused on improving connectivity and accessibility along the Big Creek Greenway, strengthening opportunities for recreation, mobility and community connection.
We invite qualified firms with expertise in urban design, greenway engineering and community connectivity to apply.
Important Dates:
Questions Due: September 25 at 5 p.m.
Submission Deadline: October 9 at 2 p.m.

Gwinnett Tech Shares Expansion Plans with True North 400 |

At our September board meeting, the True North 400 team had the privilege of hearing from Lauren Dodson, Vice President of Economic Development at Gwinnett Tech. Lauren presented Gwinnett Tech’s ambitious expansion plans and highlighted the role that workforce development and higher education play in fueling economic growth across North Fulton.
Partnerships like these strengthen the pipeline of skilled talent for our community employers, guaranteeing that local businesses and industries have access to the workforce they need to succeed and grow. We are grateful to Lauren and the Gwinnett Tech team for sharing their vision and joining us for an engaging discussion at our monthly meeting.

Equifax Expands in Alpharetta with $25 Million Investment |
Exciting news for North Fulton! Equifax has announced a $25 million expansion of its Alpharetta campus, bringing 244 new corporate jobs to the area over the next three years.

True North 400 congratulates Georgia Department of Transportation Commissioner Russell McMurry on receiving a prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award from Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS). At the recent ITS World Congress event, Commissioner McMurry made history as the first state DOT commissioner to receive this honor.
In addition to this award, he was also inducted into the ITS World Congress Hall of Fame, recognizing his exceptional leadership and impact on advancing transportation innovation.

A New Downtown Parking Deck Coming to Roswell |
City officials have officially broken ground on a new 395-stall parking deck at Green Street and Ga. 9. Scheduled for completion on May 4, 2026, this $20 million project will provide complimentary parking for residents, easing congestion and supporting the city’s vibrant downtown businesses.
The parking deck is a cornerstone of the Green Street Activation Plan, a strategic initiative designed to improve accessibility while preserving the charm of Roswell’s historic district. By blending thoughtful infrastructure investments with community needs, Roswell continues to set the stage for sustainable growth and a thriving visitor experience.

Milton Residents Now Enjoy the Lowest Millage Rate in City History |

Big news from Milton! The Milton City Council has approved the lowest millage rate in the city’s nearly 20-year history — now set at 4.193 mills, a 4.47% decrease from last year. Mayor Peyton Jamison noted, “I think we provide exceptional service. And I think our tax dollars go further here than anywhere else."
