Gwinnett Place CID was featured in a recent Georgia Trend article about Community Improvement Districts in DeKalb and Gwinnett counties that work in concert with local, state and federal partner organizations to improve their district's infrastructure, access, mobility, beauty and safety.
The article included information on the Gwinnett Place Mall site's redevelopment strategy into Global Villages, and the CID’s commitment to public safety, beautification and economic development.
CIDs are known for working behind the scenes. Most people may not even know that changes and improvements in their community are the result of a community improvement district's time and financial support. However, the goal is always to improve the lives of those living in and visiting the district through increased accessibility and mobility.
