NAC Executive Director to Receive National Award
The National Assembly of State Arts Agencies (NASAA) announced last week that Suzanne Wise, Executive Director of the Nebraska Arts Council, will receive the 2018 Gary Young Award. This award recognizes an executive director who has made an extraordinary contribution to public support for the arts at the state, regional and national levels. Read more
NebraskARTS Award Winners Announced
Congratulations to Norfolk High School and Louisville Public Schools, the 2018 recipients of the NebraskARTS Award. Each year, Nebraskans for the Arts honors Nebraska schools or school districts that has supported and encouraged achievement in the media arts, visual arts, dance, music, and theater. Norfolk High School received their award at a ceremony on October 23; Louisville Public Schools' ceremony will be November 20.

Artists Wanted- Omaha Summer Arts Festival

The Omaha Summer Arts Festival wants to showcase Nebrask artists. Artist applications are now being accepted for the 2019 Festival, Friday, June 7 - Sunday, June 9.  Click here for information on the application/jury fees, booth fees and deadlines.
