International Collaborations
The National Institutes of Health (NIH) issued a notice (NOT-OD-25-155) announcing ‘a new application and award structure for applications that request funding for foreign component organizations.’ Details on the resources, including FAQs and training on the new activity codes and application structures will be coming soon.

Data Management and Research Security
The NIH issued a notice (NOT-OD-25-159) regarding the ‘Required Security and Operational Standards for NIH Controlled-Access Data Repositories’ in further ‘implementing consistent and robust protocols to ensure NIH controlled-access data are appropriately safeguarded, consistent with Executive Order 14117 and 28 CFAR Part 202.” Examples of NIH repositories with controlled-access data include: Database of Genotypes and Phenotypes (dbGAP), National Cancer Institute Genomic Data Commons (GDC) and more.
