Spring Mentorship Updates

Over the past few weeks, RTSWS cohorts held their 1st and 2nd RTSWS Spring Mentorship sessions.

In their 1st session, students were introduced to their mentors and completed a career aptitude test. During their 2nd, students were introduced to the RTSWS Internship & Job Portal and taught best practices for resume building.

Our next Student CEO Summit is March 7th

Student CEO's from across North America will meet virtually to discuss how RTSWS Spring Mentorship sessions have been going so far and to elevate their leadership skills. These student leaders will have the opportunity to collaborate and network with other high school leaders as they work to build successful RTSWS cohorts at their schools.

While this event is exclusive for our current Student CEO's - we encourage all students to consider applying for the leadership position at your school for the

2022-2023 academic year.

Changing Girls' Mindsets on Financial Education

March 10, 2022

Austin, TX

The SXSW EDU Conference & Festival is a four-day event that takes place each March in Austin, TX. SXSW offers compelling sessions, in-depth workshops, engaging learning experiences, mentorship, film screenings, future-focused competitions, an expo, networking opportunities and more.

Improving girls’ financial education & literacy in high school is critical to improving America’s gender wage and wealth inequalities, the college debt crisis (which disproportionately affects women) & addressing the demand for greater diversity in the financial industry. We must teach girls to be fiscally confident by familiarizing them with financial terms, exposing them to female role models, teaching them about investing and opening their eyes to how being financially autonomous is key to full realization.
