Dear Neighbors,
As you may recall, last year the Minneapolis City Council commissioned a study of the impact of raising the minimum wage. We decided to evaluate both a $12 and $15 per hour wage at both the City and regional levels. The study is complete and we hope that you can join the national team of researchers as they present their findings to the Committee of the Whole this Wednesday.
The deputy City Coordinator, Nuria Rivera- Vandermyde, will also present the plan for how community members will be able to provide input on the minimum wage plan that staff will develop for the City Council to consider in early 2017.

Materials, including the full minimum wage study, can be found on the City's website.

Please join us! If you are not able to be here in person you can tune in using Channel 14 live on television or streaming online.
