Difficult discussions in the classroom might naturally arise as part of your curriculum, or they may be sparked by external events and factors. Whether you decide to engage your students in these challenging conversations or not, preparation is key. We've put together some guiding reflections to help you delve into thought-provoking subjects with your students.

Join the trauma-informed teaching community of practice
|
Connect with other PSU instructors around trauma-informed teaching this year and join the Trauma-Informed Community of Practice. You'll get a chance to expand your experience analyzing your curriculum and course facilitation through a trauma-informed lens, as well as identify and integrate various trauma-informed teaching strategies into your own practice.
The Trauma-Informed Teaching Community of Practice cohort will meet during winter and spring terms (Friday, January 19, 2024- Friday, June 7th, 2024. All PSU faculty and staff are encouraged to apply. Applications are due by 5pm on Monday, November 13, 2023.
