News from the college

Greeting the Mountains

Overnight rains made for a muddy Mountain Day last Friday, but enthusiasm wasn’t dampened when President Mandel declared it a day off from classes “to celebrate the wonder and restorative benefits of the outdoors,” as she wrote in a letter to campus. While some early morning hikes were canceled due to slippery conditions, there were still plenty of activities to choose from throughout the day, including musical and dance performances and an all-campus picnic. See a video and photos highlighting the day’s fun.
