Have you thought about joining a research study?
For many, participating in research for Parkinson’s and related disorders can be empowering and an important part of accelerating your and our understanding of potential treatments. Studies may range from a one-time survey or involve regular visits over time with an investigational treatment.
We are currently enrolling for three studies focused on Lewy body dementia:
RewinD-LB: A clinical trial to evaluate the drug "neflamapimod", compared to a placebo, to see if it can improve learning skills, problem solving skills, and memory loss in people with dementia with Lewy bodies.
LBD-TOROS: A one-time survey study to investigate which environmental, occupational or reproductive health factors play a role in Lewy body dementia.
Dementia with Lewy Bodies Consortium: A multi-site study to collecting detailed clinical information, biofluids, imaging and ultimately autopsy results from people with Lewy body dementia, mild cognitive impairment with a high likelihood of dementia with Lewy bodies, to advance diagnosis, care and treatment.
