Hello Lakers,
As I sit and reflect on everything we’ve built together this year, from CEO Club conversations to the energy of Laker Outlet, from the impact driven work of MCSC to the bold ideas brought to life through 77 Idea Quest, and the real world consulting and community partnerships through Momentum by Seidman, I keep coming back to one thing: you showed up.
You showed up with curiosity, with uncertainty, with big ideas that maybe didn’t feel fully formed yet. And more importantly, you showed up with the courage to take a chance on yourselves.
It’s easy to sit on an idea. It’s easy to wait until something feels “perfect.” What you did instead was lean in. You tested, you asked questions, you put yourselves out there, and in many cases, you failed forward, and kept going anyway. That’s the real work of entrepreneurship, and you lived it.
Through every pitch, every late night prep, every conversation that pushed your thinking just a little further, you were building more than projects. You were building confidence, resilience, and a mindset that will carry you far beyond any single program or event.
I’ve said this before, but I’ll say it again because it matters: ideas are everywhere. What’s rare is the willingness to act on them. To follow that spark, even when it feels uncomfortable or uncertain.
Thank you for trusting the process. Thank you for trusting us. And most importantly, thank you for trusting yourselves enough to take that first step.
I hope you carry these experiences with you, not just as something you did during your time here, but as a reminder of what you’re capable of when you choose to show up fully.
