Happy June!

On Monday, June 1st, Governor Whitmer rescinded the Safer at Home Order, effectively allowing the planned reopening of retailers and restaurants. This is wonderful news for our state as it reassures us that we all took action to stay safe and stop the spread. Once we receive direction from our government and health officials, we will announce our reopening with you, our members.

For now, please read further for the various virtual sports and fitness programs we are currently offering. Starting today, we have begun providing outdoor Group Exercise classes for our members! The Y is carefully planning a safe return for all of our members. As we make our first strides to the new normal, this is one way we are reengaging our services to support healthy living. Please continue reading for more announcements, including information about summer day camp and an update about our annual Rise 'n Shine race!

We Can't Thank You Enough!

Can you believe it's been almost 3 months that the Y has been closed? We can't, but we are so grateful to all of our members for sticking with us these 3 long months. We have seen amazing, generous acts from many of you through kind words, financial donations, and showing care for when and how we reopen. We are convinced we have the best members! Please continue to stick with us, as it looks like the end of business closures is near. Though we must still wait for guidelines from the authorities regarding a reopening date, we are diligently planning, cleaning, and otherwise preparing for your safe and happy return. Be rest assured that we will communicate our reopening date and plan with you quickly and effectively once we have the details in place. We hope to see you soon!
