Dear Faculty and Staff,
Do you play an instrument? Would you be interested in joining our group of enthusiastic pep band students? If so, we'd love to have you join us.
I am Ryan Rabe and I am the current director of the pep band. You also may recognize me from my day time job in facilities management here on campus. I am writing to you with hopes of faculty and staff involvement with our student pep band in order to bolster our numbers for the upcoming semester.
About the pep band: We play at all women's and men's home basketball games, as well as a few rehearsals throughout the year. Occasionally, we do play for other events on campus. In the past, the pep band was a large student run organization. Prior to covid numbers dwindled and covid ended the band. Since then, athletics has worked to revive this program. It is my hope that with a larger fuller band we can get even more student involvement, as well as another outlet for us all to connect with students.

- If you're interested, please fill out this google form for me to collect your interest and information.
- Rehearsals: We rehearse Mondays at 7 p.m. in VUCA 1518. These would not be required, but you're more than welcome to attend so you wouldn't need to come in cold to a game.
- Need an instrument? The pep band does have a few available for use. Just let me know
- After you fill out the form I will share the pep band calendar as well as the sign up sheet for our appearances.
