Meet Clemson’s Newest Students After receiving a record number of applications for Fall 2021 admission, Clemson welcomes a new class of 4,600+ first-year undergraduate students to campus. These students are athletes and artists, volunteers and leaders. They’re aspiring engineers, health care professionals, entrepreneurs, researchers, public servants, educators and creators. They’re arriving at Clemson with diverse backgrounds, life experiences and perspectives that will help our campus grow as much as they grow with it.

3rd Annual CMO Summit
The Erwin Center for Brand Communications is bringing brand and agency leaders to the Clemson University campus again as part of its 3rd Annual CMO Summit on Friday, Sept. 10. This year’s theme, Mindful Marketing; Forward Thinking Through Unity and Intention, will expose students, faculty and industry professionals to experts representing some of the world’s most recognizable consumer brands.

| | Leading Pan African Studies
L. Kaifa Roland has been appointed Director of the Pan African Studies program at Clemson. Roland joins Clemson from the University of Colorado at Boulder, where she was Associate Professor of Anthropology since 2006 and served as Chair of Women and Gender Studies since 2020.
