Rescue K911 - A Refuge for the Homeless
Donate Available for Adoption
Dear Friend:
We received an urgent call last night about a homeless dog in great need. The kind people, Jane & Billy,  had found her at their Condo complex after seeing her along the roadside 4 days earlier.  They asked us if  there anything we could do to help??? Jane sent me a picture and right way we knew we had to help this little girl. She arrived this morning.
Little June Bug
It's been awhile since we've had a little one come to us in such bad shape.  Special thanks to our vet,  Dr. Michelle , for making a special trip out to the rescue to check her out and let us know what is going on.  First of all, the obvious, this little elderly 10lb Chihuahua mix  has been long neglected and on her own for quite awhile. She is covered in fleas and probably over 100 ticks.  Immediate medication for that.  She has a ruptured eye which will need to be removed as soon as possible.  She has nails so long on her back legs she cannot put down her rear left leg. She has mammary tumors along both sides which also will require surgery to remove. Bacterial infection on her skin. She is in pain and wants to bite, so much so we had to muzzle her in order to begin treatment on her.  We are looking at about a $2,000.00 vet bill to save her life. But just looking at her little battered body we want to give her all the love and care she has long been denied. She is eating good and can now finally rest knowing she is safe. We named her June Bug.
Please keep little June Bug in your prayers, and would kindly ask if you would like to help with her vet bill, we really do need help, and would appreciate it so very much! Thank you, dear friend, for caring and helping Rescue K911 help the homeless in need. June Bug sends her love and appreciation. Bow-Wow! We will keep you updated on her progress.

Upon arrival this morning, little June Bug trying to figure out who we are and where she is. But I think she knows we are trying to help her.
We just heard from Dr. Michelle.  Blood work taken actually looks good.  Heartworm negative and no tick disease.  She is very anemic. We are starting her on antibiotics.
Thank you for helping the homeless
