This year, the state of Tennessee has recognized Dec. 22 as an additional day for holiday break. As such, the university will be closed for the holiday break from Dec. 22, 2023 through Jan. 1, 2024.

The next DASH town hall is scheduled for Jan. 10, 2024, starting at 1 p.m. EST. DASH is beginning the new year BIG with not one, but three town hall sessions, focusing on facilities maintenance at 1 p.m., finance at 2 p.m. and human resources at 3 p.m. (all times Eastern)! Participants can join for one or all three sessions - don’t miss this opportunity to learn more about what is to come in 2024! Upcoming UT System Administration staff meeting |
Save the date for the upcoming UT System Administration staff meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 12 from 9-10 a.m. EST. The meeting will be held in the Square Room located in historic Market Square and will cover major updates from the UT System, including information about the upcoming employee holiday party!

Jason Parker joined the UT System on Nov. 27 and is originally from Central Florida. He has a Bachelor of Arts in history and political science from Florida Southern College. Professionally, Parker has five years of experience in auto insurance with GEICO and seven years as an account manager with Aaron’s Sales and Lease. He also taught for one year and took portrait photography for one year. When he’s not working, Parker enjoys photography, hiking and music.
