Baseball Field Turfgrass EXPO

Register now to attend the Baseball Field Turfgrass Management Field Day & EXPO on Tuesday morning, July 31, 2018 at Sloan Park in Mesa. The spring training home of the Chicago Cubs, Arizona Sports Turf Managers Association, and The University of Arizona Cooperative Extension Turfgrass Program will host and conduct the annual Field Day & EXPO. An expanding EXPO is anticipated to have more allied turf industry representatives displaying and demonstrating products and equipment.

All turf managers and professionals from schools, community colleges, municipalities or other turf facilities are encouraged to attend and bring along coaches, supervisors, and administrators. For more information and to register: http://turf.arizona.edu/

Nogales mom is family center's 'shining star'

Karla Mezquita, a mother of two young boys, has taken more than 400 class sessions during the past four years at the Nogales Family Resource Center, earning praise from the University of Arizona Cooperative Extension for her commitment to better parenting and preparing her children for school.

Join us for the Networking Kick-off Event of the Professional Empowerment Series
The goal of the series is to provide targeted professional development opportunities for non-tenure, non-continuing track faculty, appointed professionals, and staff with an emphasis on topics which are particularly relevant to underrepresented groups.


For this Networking Kick-Off Event we will provide more information on the series, and solicit your feedback about topics that are relevant and interesting to you.  We will also PROVIDE LUNCH!

Benefits Refresher

Attend the HR/LWC Benefits Refresher July 10th!

Has it been a while since you attended your original UA onboarding (if you went to one at all)?  Are you unsure of what changes and new benefits there are since you’ve been an employee?  Are there benefits you may not be aware of?
 
If the answer to any of these questions is yes, join us for the upcoming Benefits Refresher here in CALS where we will have representatives from HR and Life and Work Connections (LWC) to refresh our memories!
