Join Westminster City Council at Tonight's Town Hall

Please join Mayor Nancy McNally, Mayor Pro Tem David DeMott, and the Westminster City Council for a town hall today, May 18, from 6:30–8 p.m. at Orchard Park Academy. The City Council would like to hear any suggestions or ideas you would like to share and answer questions you want answered. Questions can be submitted until 3 p.m. this afternoon.

Our Path to Affordable Water for Westminster

Over the past 18 months, the City listened to the community and developed a path toward clean, safe, and affordable water. We cut water rates in 2022 and capped rate adjustments for the next 10 years. We saved $100 million on the water treatment facility after a thoughtful reevaluation of the original project. After these reforms, Westminster's water rates are more affordable and closely resemble our neighboring communities.

2023 Police Unity Tour

The Westminster Police Department continues its tradition of participating in the Police Unity Tour. WPD Senior Police Officer Adam Lanning completed the 250-mile bike ride from New Jersey to Washington, D.C. as a tribute to Arvada Police Officer Dillon Vakoff, who was killed in the line of duty on Sept. 11, 2022.

Purchase a Rain Barrel Kit and Join Us for a Rain Barrel Workshop

Purchase a rain barrel kit, then join the City's stormwater team along with Colorado Rain Catcher for a rain barrel workshop on Friday, June 2 from 5-7 p.m. at Westminster City Hall. Participants will learn about rainwater collection and how to connect their newly purchased rain barrels. This event is for 50 residents only so be sure to register by May 30! A 20% off discount is available for Westminster residents. Learn more.

If you've ever wondered how traffic lights are timed, what goes into maintaining our parks, or how the city’s budget is developed, Westminster Civic Academy is the place for you!
