RTSWS Spring Mentorship Program Kicks Off

The Spring Mentorship program matches RTSWS students with female financial professionals. Together, they begin to explore the student's professional interests and aspirations and develop professional skills, such as resume writing and interview preparation

During these first sessions, students are introduced to their mentors and take the RTSWS Career Quiz to learn more about rewarding opportunities within the finance industry.

Stay tuned as we share more about these developing relationships over the next few months!

RTSWS Alumnae to launch 'Smart Woman Securities' chapter at UNC Chapel Hill

University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill junior and 2020 RTSWS Alumnae, Mira R., is co-founding a ‘UNC Smart Woman Securities' chapter this semester.
Smart Woman Securities (SWS) is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to educate undergraduate women on investments and finance. Through seminars, mentoring initiatives and meetings with successful investors such as Warren Buffett, SWS provides resources upon which women can build greater knowledge of the financial markets. SWS, like RTSWS, is empowering a new generation of female investors with greater investment knowledge and financial influence.
Mira is an alum of our RTSWS Panther Creek High School cohort. She is passionate about creating more opportunities for women in the finance industry. Mira is currently serving as Chief Investment Officer of the 'UNC Smart Woman Securities' chapter. With plans for a stock pitch competition later this spring, ‘UNC Smart Woman Securities’ is a great opportunity to network with other women interested in finance on campus.
