Requesting an NIH Awarding Component or Study Section? VUMC Office of Sponsored programs reminds those applicants wishing to request a particular awarding component (NIH Institute or Center) or study section, should complete the PHS Assignment Request Form. Requests should not be included in the cover letter, per NOT-OD-16-008. Particular attention should be paid to which NIH Institutes and Centers (ICs) participate in the announcement.

L’ORÉAL USA For Women in Science Fellowship Program. This program is the U.S. component of the L’ORÉAL-UNESCO For Women in Science International Fellowships program. Must be in postdoctoral research position by 02/01/2019. $60,000 (no indirects or fringe). Deadline: 02/01. Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Awards for Gene Editing for Cystic Fibrosis The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation announces a Request for Applications (RFA) to identify and support highly meritorious proposals in gene editing that offer potential to repair or circumvent CFTR mutations in individuals with CF. Awards range from $63,000 - $200,000. Deadline: 03/15.
