City Releases Boulder Arts Blueprint |
The Office of Arts and Culture has released the Boulder Arts Blueprint, a ten-year plan that establishes a vision for the arts and details actionable goals to support a thriving, inclusive arts and culture ecosystem. Informed by extensive community engagement, the Blueprint outlines strategies to expand access to cultural experiences, strengthen the creative economy and support artists and organizations across Boulder.
The plan also advances the Boulder Valley Comprehensive Plan by reflecting a shared understanding that arts and culture are not standalone amenities but essential civic infrastructure that support equity, economic opportunity, community wellbeing and regional resilience.
The Arts Blueprint is organized into seven goals, each with clear actions, shared measures of success, potential partners, and best practice highlights to guide Boulder's arts and culture work over the next ten years. Visit the Boulder Arts Blueprint Hub to learn more and view all seven goals.

11th & Spruce Garage Maintenance Updates |
Construction mobilization is beginning at the 11th & Spruce Garage. Upcoming work will include structural repairs, storefront replacements, concrete and traffic coating updates, elevator and stairwell improvements, upgraded lighting, and fresh paint. These updates are designed to preserve the garage, enhance safety and improve the overall parking and access experience.
Please note important project dates:
|
- Week of May 4: Full construction begins – north stairwell closed to public (garage will remain open)
- Week of June 1: Full garage closure – parking garage closes for four months
- Week of June 15: Construction begins on tenant spaces
- End of October: Anticipated garage reopening
|
Construction will be noisy and disruptive at times but completing more maintenance at once will help us finish faster and provide a safer, more reliable facility for everyone.
For regular garage maintenance updates, visit the city's construction impacts page.
