Our 2nd Annual Art Show & Grief in the Digital Age
2nd Annual Art Show
2nd Annual Art Show!
The Christi Center's Art Show is coming soon!
Stop by The Christi Center  on Sunday, April 12th from 3-5pm  to be profoundly moved by art created as part of the grieving process. We'll have art created by members from our Kids Who Kare, schools, Teen and adult groups, as well as from partner agencies.
(For a sneak peek at some of the Teen art, watch this video!)
♥ Have you created art work as part of your grief journey? If you would like to share it with others who GET it, we'd love to showcase it! Please email Lara.
We Asked, You Amplified!
Many, many thanks to all those who gave to The Christi Center during Austin's 24 Hours of Giving - Amplify Austin! The Christi Center raised over $24,000 during this year's campaign, and we are so grateful to have your support!
We had a grand time kicking off the 24 hours with our Purple Zebra Party and saw many friends.
It's not too late! If you meant to give, but missed Amplify Austin Day, you can still support peer-based, ALWAYS FREE, grief services in our community.

Have you found social media to be part of your grief process? Here are several authors who have written about the topic: Grief & Technology, Is the Internet Helping Americans Talk About Death? and App Lets Grieving Teens Mourn by Composing Songs.
