Downtown Tucson Partnership: Keeping Downtown Clean, Safe & Vibrant
Since July 1, 2024, DTP has been hard at work—removing over 18,500 pieces of trash, making 24,500+ business visits, cleaning up graffiti and pressure washing sidewalks—all to keep Downtown Tucson clean, safe, and welcoming. Vibrant Wayfinding for a Walkable Downtown
There’s a new addition to our Storefront Vinyl Program at 1 E. Broadway Boulevard, featuring a vibrant downtown map and QR codes inviting guests to eat, shop, play and explore Downtown Tucson. Thank you to Rio Nuevo for sponsoring this activation and helping us keep downtown welcoming and engaging!

New Businesses Added: Downtown Tucson Gift Card
Consider giving the gift of downtown, year-round! Nearly 70 businesses now accept the Downtown Tucson Gift Card, including nine exciting new additions: Antojitos, Basqueria Tapas and Sangria Bar, Chela’s Latin Cuisine, Crow’s Nest, De Novo Market and Tap, Lumbre Pizza A La Leña, Tabu Bar, Talega Coffee Co. and The Sound Post. Since the program launched, over $71,500 has gone back into downtown's local economy.

A Creative Space Rooted in Community
Temple Arts Collective, located at 267 S. Stone Avenue, is a new collective in Downtown Tucson built for community-centered art and coworking. Come to play with clay, paint and collage. We stopped by their grand opening last week and felt the heartfelt energy from the four founders (pictured), including a sweet mother and daughter duo. Join them for their first Clay Play, a social open studio clay-building session, on Saturday, May 10 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and Tuesday, May 20 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Extended Meter Hours Begin June 2
Beginning Monday, June 2, 2025, Park Tucson will extend parking meter enforcement to Monday–Saturday, 8 a.m.–7 p.m. (currently 8 a.m.–5 p.m., Monday–Friday). Rates and time limits will remain the same, and meters will still be free after 7 p.m. and all day on Sundays.
