In-Person Instruction Update
The CDC has issued new guidelines related to the holidays and holiday travel. Based on this information, and guidance from the City of St. Louis Health Department, we are revising our timeline for resuming in-person instruction for middle and high school students.
What does this mean for my family? If your middle school student was scheduled to return to in-person instruction on Monday, or your high school student was scheduled to return to in-person instruction later this month, that plan is now on hold. No additional middle or high school students will return to in-person instruction until after Winter Break.
At this time, there are no changes to the in-person instruction currently underway in elementary schools and our schools that serve populations with specific needs.
We understand schedule changes always serve some families well and cause stress to other families. Please know, we looked forward to welcoming back our middle and high schoolers, however our decision is based on advice from medical experts and ongoing review of data. Thank you for your understanding. We will provide an update as soon as one is available.
