Meet Bernice Ova, a Family and Consumer Studies major and intern with Granite School District Family Engagement Center!
"My internship at the Family Engagement Center helped me to inspire human solutions to life's challenges by being a liaison and advocate for families and students who are unable to build a relationship with the schools. My internship allowed me to build a bridge between families and schools through effective communication, implementing life-changing solutions, and building trusting relationships. This internship was rewarding and has helped me to increase empathy, make a positive impact in students and families' lives, and provide resources that set up students for academic success."
