The City of Pittsburgh Ethics Hearing Board Seeking Potential Board Members

The City of Pittsburgh Ethics Hearing Board is seeking interested parties for current and upcoming board member vacancies. This nine-member board and its staff serve to protect the public trust and prevent wrongdoing through advice, education and enforcement.

Consider this a wonderful opportunity to engage in public service, a creative outlet for your passion for integrity and honesty, and a means to make a difference if unethical conduct elsewhere in the news is getting you down.

Women/diverse candidates are strongly encouraged to apply as the membership of the board is to reflect the city's diversity in regard to race, color, creed, religion, gender, familial status, sexual orientation, national origin, gender identity, age and disability. Meetings are usually from 4 to 5:30 p.m. once a month, with additional committee and hearing panel engagements scheduled at your convenience.

If you are interested, please email leanne.davis@pittsburghpa.gov for more information. Ms. Davis can also assist if you need help confirming Pittsburgh residency, one of the requirements.

Congratulations!
We like to share the accomplishments of WLD members who have received awards or other recognition, changed jobs, or celebrated significant life events such as marriage or the birth or adoption of a child. If you have good news to share, send an email to WLD@acba.org.
