During the month of May, RTSWS has had a new team member, Valeria, a high school senior at Avenues: The World School in NYC! She is virtually shadowing the day in the life of working at a high-growth non-profit. Avenues has an experiential learning program for their seniors in which they recieve school credit for taking part in an off-campus shadow opportunity.
"I recently joined RTSWS for the entire month of May and I can say that it has been a great experience so far. Coming from a school like Avenues that is progressive and innovative, I have found that RTSWS is as well," Valeria shared.
Valeria has provided RTSWS with unique educational perspectives, as she completed most of her education in Mexico and is now finishing up high school in NYC. She has joined in on meetings, learned the ins and outs of our program curriculum and gotten a glimpse of how all of our different teams work together.
"Having this opportunity means so much. It shows me that you can get anywhere you want with the correct orientation and RTSWS is doing that for so many girls all around the US and Canada. I am incredibly grateful to have known this organization before graduating high school because it has completely changed my perspective on the finance sector."
