Important Dates

Oct. 5—CC in the Spotlight: Health and Wellbeing (5-6 p.m. MT)
Oct. 13-15—Homecoming and Family Weekend 2023
Oct. 18—End of Block 2
Oct. 23—Beginning of Block 3

Looking Ahead:
Nov. 16-26—Fall Break including Thanksgiving (Residence Halls close at noon. Students will receive information and can sign up at the Worner Desk for a free airport shuttle. Approval required through the Housing Office for those wishing to remain on campus during any portion of this time.)
Dec. 17—Winter Commencement 
Dec. 20—Beginning of Winter Break
Jan. 8-18—Half Block
Jan. 22—Beginning of Block 5

Homecoming and Family Weekend: Oct. 13-15

Homecoming and Family Weekend is almost here! 
Come celebrate CC's amazing Tiger Spirit on campus during Homecoming and Family Weekend 2023. Check out the online schedule for updates to the many events planned to help you connect with your student on campus, and experience all that the remarkable CC community has to offer. Plus be sure to watch your email the week of HCFW for an important "Know Before You Go" message with final details and updates.
Pre-registration is now closed. If you missed the deadline, you can still register on site at Registration Central in the Charles L. Tutt Library when you arrive to campus. On-site registration hours will be:
Friday, Oct. 13, 9 a.m.-6p.m.
Saturday, Oct. 14, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

Research and Internship Symposium

Coming to campus for Family Weekend? Join early on Thursday, Oct. 12, 3-5:30 p.m. in the Edith Kinney Gaylord Cornerstone Arts Center for the SCoRe (Summer Collaborative Research) and Internship Symposium.
This is the culminating event after a summer of collaborative research and internship experiences conducted by Colorado College students and faculty, as well as through off-campus organizations. Help us to bring the CC community together for a series of short presentations, poster sessions, and discussions across a variety of academic disciplines. The collaborative research presented is funded by the Office of the Dean of the College's Faculty Student Collaborative Grant, departmental funds, internal grants, external research grants, and the Career Center’s Student Internship Funding Program. No RSVP is necessary for this event.

Financial Aid for Current Students

Current students wishing to reapply for financial aid need to mind the following deadlines:
  • Feb. 15, 2024 for priority award release
  • April 15, 2024 for regular award release
Remember, these documents are required for a completed financial aid application:
  • CSS Profile (cssprofile.org)—Available in October
  • FAFSA (studentaid.gov)—Available after Jan. 1
  • Copies of 2022 Tax Returns and W2s for parent(s) and students uploaded to the financial aid office.

Housing Sessions for Rising Seniors

The Residential Experience will be hosting housing information sessions for our rising seniors. In each info session, we will be talking all things senior housing, starting with which properties will be available during selection, and how the selection process will work. Members of the Residential Experience Team will be in attendance and presenting to help answer questions. Please encourage your rising senior to attend.

  • Oct. 11, 3 p.m. in Bemis Great Hall

Career Center: Finance Symposium for Students

Please encourage your student to attend the Finance Symposium
on Oct. 11, from 4-6 p.m. in McHugh Commons. The event will provide an opportunity for students to learn about the finance sector while also practicing their networking skills through conversations with CC alumni and finance recruiters.
All majors and class years are welcome, and the event will be particularly helpful for first-year and sophomore students exploring their professional interests. Students should register on Handshake.
