The Evolution of an Icon

The iconic wings badge has been synonymous with Aston Martin since 1927 when the original 'AM' logo was completely reformulated, with the Aston Martin name immersed within a new wings motif. Over the course of the 20th century a variety of adjustments were made to the design as the wings incorporated contemporary cues from each era. The most recent iteration of the badge came in 2003 as the launch of Aston Martin's new global headquarters in Gaydon heralded a new chapter in the marque's illustrious history.

Aston Martin on Display at the MGM Gallery Event

For the eighth year in a row, the annual Detroit auto show quietly opened up with the Gallery at MGM Grand Casino. The exclusive Saturday night event featured more than two dozen of the most expensive ultra-luxury, performance and exotic cars on the market. About $6 million dollars worth of cars, to be precise. With dinner served by world-renowned chef Wolfgang Puck and a fashion show by Neiman Marcus it was a night to remember.

Aston Martin of Troy had the majority of the vehicles on display including a Rapide, V12 Vantage S Roadster, V12 Vantage S, and a Vanquish Volante.
