Homecoming is this weekend, October 1-3, and it is a great opportunity for alumni to return home to Clemson and meet up with old friends, classmates and enjoy the fun and excitement all over campus. 2021 Bond Distinguished Athletes Award

David Wilkins '68 has been recognized as the 2021 Bond Distinguished Athletes Award Recipient. Eight years ago, Margaret Segars Bond ('84) and her late husband, former Clemson golfer Steve Bond ('80), established the Award.

Squadron Commander

It was the largest airborne operation of World War II, in fact the largest in history. It was September 1944 and Major Henry Kent Segars, accustomed to autumn action, was a squadron commander helping resupply the paratroopers until ground forces could link up with them.

Kelly and Ed Rose of Charleston, South Carolina were named 2021 recipients of the Herb Coughlan Memorial Family of the Year. The award has been presented annually — with the exception of 2020 due to the impact of COVID-19 — by the Clemson Family Advisory Board (CFAB) since 2001.
