Members are invited to experience the excitement of all of Longwood Reimagined—first—with our Members previews beginning November 3. Enjoy exclusive access to our wondrous new spaces before their public opening on November 22, 2024.
Explore the new West Conservatory, a Mediterranean garden under glass with islands of plants set amid bridges, canals, fountains, and water features. Rediscover the Cascade Garden, preserved and relocated to its own new, custom glasshouse. Enjoy the serenity of our new Bonsai Courtyard, an outdoor gallery space artfully showcasing our acclaimed bonsai collection … and see it all, first.
Reservations not required for Gardens Premium Members and Innovators. Please note, your Membership must be active on the day you plan to visit. If your expiration date is before the previews, please renew first, then make your free Member reservation.

Gardens Can (and Will) Save the World |
Join us for our latest Science Series talk as Associate Director of Science Communications Jessica Turner-Skoff, Ph.D. explores how gardens like Longwood are in a unique position to conserve plants—and change the world. With the expertise, facilities, collections, and opportunities to support a more verdant world, learn how Longwood is contributing to this global, future-focused movement to ensure that plants bring beauty, inspiration and joy for generations to come. This engaging talk will be held on July 19 at 6 pm in our Visitor Center Auditorium.

Summer Members-only Hours
|
Join us in the Gardens on Wednesday, August 7 for an Members-only evening designed specifically for families with young children. Five-time Grammy-nominated children’s musician Justin Roberts & the Not Ready for Naptime Players perform the Orchard stage at 6 pm followed by an entertaining Illuminated Fountain Performance in the Main Fountain Garden at 7:30 pm.
Please note: the Illuminated Fountain Performance begins with white lights and slowly transitions to full-color over the course of the show.

Longwood Organ Academy Performance |
Join us in our Gardens for the culminating performance by students from the Longwood Organ Academy on July 27 at 1:30 pm in the Ballroom.
The Longwood Organ Academy is a week-long, residential summer intensive program providing participants the opportunity to study organ transcriptions on one of the world’s largest symphonic organs, the Longwood Organ. Throughout the week, students participate in private master classes and lessons with esteemed instructors Peter Richard Conte and Alan Morrison—and during this free performance, share their talents with us.

The Gardens will close at 6 pm on July 20 and August 10 to everyone but ticket holders for our Fireworks & Fountains Shows. Last entry for those without Fireworks & Fountains Show tickets on those days is 2:30 pm.
