The UC San Diego Staff Mentorship Program begins a new 6-month season in November 2023. Now is the time to let us know you’re interested in volunteering as a mentor and/or signing up as a mentee.
The application period for mentors and mentees is open August 14th through September 29th. Typically, mentors/mentees spend about 1 hour/month for 6 months to discuss topics of their choosing.
Sample activities include:

- learning more about one another’s world of work
- sharing each other’s personal career path stories and professional aspirations
- getting guidance and feedback on your professional development plans
- role playing and problem-solving real time work issues
- and/or practicing coaching, asking for help, and actively listening.
