Registering for Spring 2024 Classes
In advance of Registration on
Thursday, November 16th at 3pm ET you should log into NYU's student information system, Albert, to become more familiar with the platform (Albert will become a close friend!). You can use the course search function to locate options, and add potential electives to your shopping cart. Remember to make use of the
Spring 2024 Registration Guide to better acquaint yourself with Albert and NYU, and suggestions on courses to consider based on your intended major.
All students will register for 3 LS Core classes:
Arts & Cultures: Antiquity (ACA-UF 101)
Global Works & Society Towards Antiquity (GWC-UF 101)
Writing as Exploration (WREX-UF 101)
Sample course descriptions can be found here
And while you may be thinking mostly about classes right now, we are asking you to hit the books already! Before arriving at NYU, please read "How the Word is Passed" by Clint Smith, the
NYU Reads selection for 2023-2024. During orientation, you will join faculty and your classmates for a special discussion of the book.
Review the information below, and don't forget to reach out to your academic advisor if you have any questions!
