CC Presidential Update—Twin Cities

Join us in the Twin Cities!
Spring is here and we're excited to be heading to Minnesota next month. We invite you to join fellow CC alumni and families in the Twin Cities area to meet Dr. Whitaker and hear about Colorado College's vision and priorities for the future.
Since joining the college in 2011, Dr. Whitaker has served in multiple critical roles across campus, including President Richardson's partner in strategic planning and leadership of the college. Dr. Whitaker will assume the role of Interim President of Colorado College on July 1.
Before Dr. Whitaker's remarks, guests are invited to enjoy self-guided access to the Minnesota Vikings Museum. This event is free with registration; space is limited, so please register by April 18.
Unable to attend? Keep an eye out for upcoming CC events on campus or in a location near you

Spring Commencement 2024

Colorado College Commencement
CC welcomes families and guests of graduates, as well as current faculty, staff, and students, to celebrate our 2024 graduates on Sunday, May 19! An updated schedule of events for the weekend, as well as many other details, can be found on the Commencement webpage. Keep your eyes open for additional information on events and ticketing which will continue to be posted online and sent via email in the coming weeks.
If you are the parent of a graduating senior, please remind your student they must submit their application to graduate by Friday, April 19 in order to claim guest tickets for Commencement and walk in the ceremony. Eligible students will find the link to the application on their student menu in Banner SSB. It only takes a few minutes to opt in to the ceremony, provide height information for a gown, and confirm other important details. Graduating students are also asked to record their names in Canvas to ensure proper pronunciation at the ceremony.
We look forward to celebrating together soon!

Students will be able to review their specific requirements by logging into the Financial Aid Portal through CC's single sign-on page. Join the Momentum: Propel Students Forward with the Clement Challenge!

We're thrilled to share an exciting progress update about the Clement Challenge
With the help of our community, we've already raised over $89,000 since the challenge opened on Feb. 12, moving us closer to our goal!
This challenge, honoring alumnus William 'Bill' Clement '42, offers a unique chance to double your impact on essential college priorities and amplify your support for our students' futures. From now through Dec. 31, when you support current and future CC students with a gift to one of the priority areas identified on campus, your impact will double with a matching allocation (up to $25,000) from the Clement gift. Up to $2 million of his gift is going toward the challenge. Learn more about William Clement and his recent high-impact gift to CC.
Your participation in the Clement Challenge directly enriches our students' educational experiences. Each contribution supports vital student needs such as financial aid, mental health resources, and academic programs. With the end of the school year approaching, we encourage you to join this impactful initiative and give today.
Together, we're creating a brighter tomorrow for every CC student. Let's keep the momentum going! For questions, please contact annualgiving@coloradocollege.edu.
