Do you know a young Black man who needs a summer job?
The first 100 young Black men (ages 16 to 21) who are registered by Monday, April 27, will get jobs this summer.

In the “Referred By” menu, choose “None Apply - Self Referral,” the last selection in the drop down list.
Step One:
Fill out the online application.
Step Two:
Email the name of the youth to:

Hired youth will receive professional and personal training, and the capstone experience will allow them to plan, create, and present a youth-led summit event.

This opportunity is made possible with support from Mayor Charlie Hales, the City of Portland, Commissioner Loretta Smith, and Multnomah County. 

Young men who have already signed up for SummerWorks are not eligible, and those who are already enrolled in certain programs will be automatically registered under their current program.
