“What makes NYU Shanghai special is that it serves as a connection point between Chinese and US academia. The strength of the US-China relationship over the past decades has come from people continuing to talk to one another. As long as scholars remain in dialogue and maintain friendship, many misunderstandings — and even conflicts — can be avoided.”
— Assistant Professor of Economics at the National School of Development at Peking University Dr. Sifan Xue speaking on US-China trade relationsÂ
