G Suite Access Extended to End on Feb. 28, 2021
LLS faculty/staff and student Gmail accounts were migrated to Microsoft 365 in July 2018 and January 2019, respectively, but retained access to other G Suite tools. All new LLS members after those dates do not receive G Suite accounts (or Gmail) and only receive Microsoft 365 accounts. If you still have access to LLS G Suite apps (not Gmail), the original date to remove G Suite access was in August 2020. This was originally extended to Jan. 4, 2021, and now has a final closure date of Feb. 28, 2021. If you have LLS information that is still tied to your LLS G Suite, please use this reminder to move the content to a supported platform (i.e. Google Forms to Microsoft Forms, or content from Google Drive to Box). Please contact the ITS Service Desk for assistance on migrating official LLS material. To download any or all of your Google data, please use Google Takeout.
Important note about student accounts: Please note that student accounts are decommissioned two years after the last enrollment date and both G Suite accounts (if applicable) and Microsoft 365 accounts are removed at that time. Students should receive several individualized messages prior to their LLS accounts being deactivated.
Have additional questions? Contact the ITS Service Desk at 213-736-1097 or servicedesk@lls.edu.
