March is for giving, and many more events |

Greetings from Dean Linda Kean
March brings Spring Break, more sunlight later in the day, and flowers blooming before we know it. It's a great month to refresh and fully welcome spring.
This month is ECU's annual day of giving: Pirate Nation Gives, on March 4. The College of Fine Arts and Communication will focus this year on an exciting and enriching alternative spring break trip for our students to New York City in 2027.
Students from all four schools will connect with outstanding ECU alumni in a wide range of professional careers, and engage in hands-on workshops, site visits, and behind-the-scenes experiences. Our students will gain valuable insights into possible career pathways in the creative economy and beyond, while immersing themselves in the cultural landscape of New York City.
Donations to the alternative spring break fund will make this experience more accessible to our students, helping offset the expenses of travel, lodging, and program activities. Thank you for considering a gift that invests in the success of our students. Please also check out this article that shares 10 ways our college is building a strong future for our students.
