Topics will range from caring for infants with vaccine hesitant parents, engaging providers in new labor positioning techniques, navigating complex social situations, and more. The day will start with a didactic session, and then we will model these situations in simulations.

SMM refers to health-impacting and life-threatening complications of pregnancy, occurring during hospitalizations for childbirth. These complications carry significant short- and long-term physical, psychological, social, and financial consequences.
