Private scholarships are one tool to help make college or training after high school more affordable. There are many online search engines including
theWashBoard.org. Just remember that you should never have to pay for a college scholarship search engine!
Highlighted Scholarships:
Rotary #8 Scholarship - The Rotary Club of Tacoma # 8 awards several college and technical school scholarships annually in support of seniors graduating from Tacoma high schools. Application must be to Mrs. Reinmuth by February 20, 2021.
Coolidge Scholarship - This scholarship is an annually awarded, full-ride, presidential scholarship that covers a student’s tuition, room, board, and expenses for four years of undergraduate study. Learn more at coolidgescholars.org. Application deadline: February 24, 2021.
Seattle Foundation’s Scholarships - SFS has officially launched their scholarships cycle for the 2020-21 academic year. Most applications have a deadline of March 1, 2021. Learn more about their plethora of scholarships on the SFS website.
Ewing C. Kelly Scholarship - This scholarship is designed to reward students who demonstrate good citizenship while striving to attain their academic goals. Application Deadline: March 10, 2021- Contact Mrs. Reinmuth for an application & more information
Ben B Cheney Scholarship - This $3,000 scholarship recognizes student athletes with plans to further their education in a vocational and technical school, or a 2- or 4-year college in the United States following graduation. One person from TBS is guaranteed to win!

College Board Opportunity Scholarships (CLASS OF 2022) - The College Board Opportunity Scholarships are now open for class of 2022 students.
