Job Opportunity: Connect to Collect

Connect to Collect is a project focused on increasing Utahns' awareness of their potential EITC benefits and linking them to free, high-quality tax preparation assistance through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. Student Researchers will work with schools and families on linking and educating them about the Earned Income Tax Credit.

Internship Opportunity: Program and Event Intern, Ken Garff Nonprofit Foundation

The mission of Success in Education is to provide a pathway to college careers. We do this through literacy, technology and mentoring programs, and exposure to scholarships, internships, and careers. The Program and Event Intern is an entry level position for students currently studying business, non-profit, marketing, or other relevant fields. This position is responsible for supporting the development and implementation of Success in Education's state-wide programmig, and the planning and execution of events.

The Women’s Resource Center will be hosting a Welcome Back Bash/open house in our lounge space from 4-6pm on Wednesday, August 31, 2022. This is your opportunity to come and get to know our new space! Stop by to say hello and grab a cold drink and a slice of pizza!

Farmers Market
September 1, 10 AM–2 PM
The University of Utah Farmers Market links local growers, artisans, and resources for healthy lives with students, faculty, and staff campus. Market vendors provide on-campus access to diverse cuisines, as well as produce, baked goods, gifts, and more, while local organizations and on-campus departments showcase the full range of resources available to students. The U Farmers Market takes place Thursdays outside the Union building for the first half of the fall semester – now back for fall 2022!
