As a Professor of English, Chair of Black Studies, and affiliated faculty in Women, Gender, & Sexuality Studies, Maude has firsthand experience teaching at Coffee Creek Correctional Facility, where she helped deliver one of the PSU program’s first hybrid courses.

Applications to join the Microcredential Community of Practice are due October 10th! |
We are excited to expand PSU's portfolio of microcredentials, and we invite you to learn more about how to design and develop your own microcredential. The ideal participant in this community of practice has an idea for a microcredential as well as learning outcomes and assignments and is interested in developing the credential with support from fellow faculty and staff.
Community of Practice members will each receive $1,259 for their work and participation. All PSU Faculty are encouraged to apply. Please review the Terms of Compensation for PSU Instructor Development Programs to confirm your eligibility. is approaching soon
