Equinox hosted our 20th consecutive Protector User Group Meeting (PUGM) this year. The event was packed with crowd favoritesProtector training, what's new, the Wish List, and expert fraud panel. The lineup also featured guest speaker Adam Panagia, from AT&T, as well as an interactive dashboard session with our very own Derek Drake. We absolutely love our customers! And, as you can see in in this event recap and photo gallery, we had a great time getting together with them!

Equinox is honored to know and work with Andi Livingston (pictured here with her daughter and son). Between her full-time role as regulatory analytics reporting manager and pursuing a business degree, Andi still makes time to participate in Equinox user groups and contribute to the Equinox user community.
With nearly three decades of telecommunications experience, Andi Livingston is a valued asset to the Equinox community. It’s especially great that Andi participates in both our user groups. Having attended in 2015, 16, and 17, Andi is a Protector User Group Meeting (PUGM) veteran. She also jumped at the chance to attend the TeleLink User Group Meeting (TUGM) when we reintroduced that event in 2018. Andi says, “My favorite part is the comradery. It is comfortable and so easy to share, unlike other conferences I’ve attended. Even at my first PUGM, I didn’t know anyone, but the veterans welcomed me, and I felt at ease. They accepted my questions and comments without judgement.”

At her current company for 14 years, Andi uses Protector and TeleLink in her role as regulatory analytics reporting manager. According to Andi, both products offer great features, but thanks to recently implementing auto-blocking, they get the most benefit from Protector now. She explained that shutting down all suspected fraud after normal business hours is a HUGE benefit—it’s turned a manual, resource-intensive process into an automated, reliable one. It’s also led to a 99% reduction in losses, so they see only 1% or less of the loss now as they did before turning up auto-blocking. 

Andi described her relationship with Equinox by saying, “Equinox is not your usual vendor. It’s a true partnership and friendship. I wish all vendor relationships were like the one I have with Equinox. It would make life so much easier. Byron and Wayne genuinely care, and that makes a huge difference.”

Andi is not just a rock star on the clock…she’s also taking a full course load in pursuit of a business degree. Now that her son and daughter are both grown, Andi reallocated the time she previously spent on their activities and dove headfirst into this personal goal. She’s already satisfied all her electives and has begun taking credits that didn’t transfer from her previous enrollment. She also makes time to volunteer year-round with Junior Achievement as well as the Feed South Dakota initiative every month. Finally, she applied for a women’s business group earlier this year, where she will serve as a mentor. 

I’m sure after reading this ‘Customer Spotlight’, you understand why everyone at Equinox admires and respects Andi so very much. We are so grateful for her friendship and support!
