Students at Mean Green Blowout
   MEAN GREEN BLOWOUT
The end of the semester is so close! Celebrate all your hard work with carnival rides, games, prizes, food, airbrush tattoos, a caricature artist and more at the Mean Green Blowout from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 30, on the University Union South Lawn and Library Mall — free with your UNT student ID.
Ready to celebrate sooner? First-year students can stop by Clark Park from 2 to 4:30 p.m. tomorrow, April 25, for a Party in the Park featuring lawn games, obstacle courses, festival food and a photo booth.
And if those aren’t enough, mark your calendar for Wednesday, May 1, when you can let out your semester frustrations at Scrappy’s Finals Bumper Bash and Bouncin’ Away From Finals.

   EAGLE ALERT POST-TEST
UNT’s Eagle Alert system sent a test message to students, faculty, staff and UNT System staff on Friday, April 19. Because the Eagle Alert system is intended to communicate vital, urgent information in potentially life-threatening situations, the university maintains strict criteria for initiating an alert.
If you are on or near campus and receive an Eagle Alert, it is crucial that you pay attention to the message. Learn about Eagle Alert and check your contact information at my.unt.edu. We suggest saving an Eagle Alert contact in your phone, so you'll know the source of the call (940-369-8097) or text message (89361).

   FACILITIES SURVEY
The UNT Facilities team needs your help.
Take this survey and provide your feedback about construction maps used in their social media so they can determine which elements are easiest for students to understand. Your response will improve how they communicate future information. Thank you for helping our hardworking Facilities crew!
Person presenting research
   SHARE YOUR RESEARCH
Students may submit poster abstracts for University Research Day, where students and faculty share their research and connect with one another over ideas that are shaping the broader research landscape.
If you have high-impact, innovative and educational research, submit your abstract poster proposal by Friday, May 31; applicants will be notified if they are selected by mid June.
Read more about abstract requirements and watch this 30-second video of highlights from last year’s event.
