Meet our Financial Woman of the Year — Nancy Pfund

We're pleased to introduce Nancy Pfund, the Founder and Managing Partner of DBL Partners, as the FWSF 2022 Financial Woman of the Year.

At DBL (standing for “Double Bottom Line”), Nancy and her team built a firm whose raison d’être is to foster investment with impact. The firm strives to optimize both financial return (First Bottom Line) and positive social impact, including social, environmental and economic benefits (Second Bottom Line) in the regions and sectors in which it invests. Nancy was an early investor in Tesla, SpaceX, SolarCity, and Pandora, among many others.

Committee Members Needed for 2022

Are you looking to help make a positive impact on women in our community? Interested in building your leadership skills and a path to an FWSF Board seat? If so, please consider joining one of our fantastic Board Committees!

We are seeking members to assist in furthering our mission to advance women in finance. As a volunteer-run organization, our Committees are integral to making FWSF an essential source of insight and inspiration. Committees are also a great way to gain exposure to FWSF's leadership and develop the skills for a future position on our Board.

America's First Female African American Supreme Court Judge

After months of vetting, on April 7, 2022, a bipartisan group of Senatorsconfirmed America's first female African American Supreme Court Judge, Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson. The well-qualified Justice Jackson was nominated by President Biden in February, when he sought a candidate with exceptional credentials, unimpeachable character, and unwavering dedication to the rule of law.
