Pima County's Idle-Free Program aims to reduce harmful vehicle emissions that contribute to air pollution and climate change. By encouraging drivers to turn off their engines when parked, the program helps protect public health, especially for children, and extends the life of vehicle engines. The initiative offers educational resources and signs to raise awareness and promote idle-free zones.
