The Contemporary Youth Orchestra will perform a one night only performance with Kenny Loggins on May 21, 2018 at 7:30pm at Severance Hall.
The organization has teamed with the singer/songwriter legend to produce an energetic live event that will feature both hits and deep cuts from the musician's five-decade career. The evening will feature music from Kenny’s incredible catalogue backed by the 115 piece Contemporary Youth Orchestra, led by Music Director Liza Grossman.
CYO’s annual Rock the Orchestra series is currently in its eighteenth year. In the past, the group has welcomed artists such as Tommy Shaw (Styx), Ben Folds, Bootsy Collins, and Melissa Etheridge. “Kenny Loggins is one of the most fun and iconic American rock artists I can imagine,” says CYO Marketing Director Steve Brown. “His style is unmistakable, his songs are instantly recognizable, and I've never heard one of this songs played without someone getting up and dancing. This show is going to be amazing."

Teens Sing for Santa Barbara presented a check for $65,000 to Barbara Tellefson at the Unity Shoppe! On March 9, 2018, local Santa Barbara teenagers put on an historical concert, supporting the Santa Barbara and Montecito Disaster Survivors. Special guests included Kenny Loggins and Bill Champlin.
